A trip to animal shelter always breaks my heart.

My husband and I spent Saturday visiting some shelters in the nearby area. Fortunately, we found one cute little Shih Tzu in the Humane Society in Pomona. However, there is another cute little doggie that needs help too. The tag for this doggie shown that she's a 2 yr old Lhasa Apso.Her size is more like a Shih Tzu. Here are some pictures of her I took with my camera phone. They're not very clear but you can see how small she is. What's sad about her is that she's got only one eye. But even with one eye, you can tell what a sweet girl she is when she looks at you. I asked the kennel staff if the dog needs medical attention for her eye. He told me that it seemed she's lost that eye for awhile so there is not any medication or treatment necessary. I was going to adopt this cutie as well, but her available date is 8/13/04. If no one comes forward before that date, she will be put for adoption. If no one adopts her, she will be put to sleep. She's really sweet and cute. I'd hate to see that happen. I'd adopt her myself this Saturday if no one claims her. Unfortunately, they usually don't let you bring the dog back on the same day if the dog is not spayed and I can't get off work to pick her up or find anyone to help me ( husband is going to be out of town ). If any of you is interested in getting a small breed dog, please give her a chance. Her adoption fee is $100 which includes spayed, first shot of 6 in 1, first dose of flea treatment and 2 weeks fellow-up vet service if necessary. The shelter address is as below:
